It's bloody warm at the moment in case you hadn't noticed, which makes dressing for work increasingly tricksy. How skimpy is appropriate? How much skin can you bare? Obviously this does depend on your office/place of work, but here's a guide on how to dress for those sticky days when the AC has obviously broken. Rule number one is always check the weather forecast on the Sunday night, and outfit planning will help each morning go smoothly.

Monday

For some #MondayMotivation, look no further than your crispest white shirt and faithful black heels. For a sumer twist, wear the shirt open from about halfway down (under the boob). This will help along that much needed ventilation. Add a matte red lip for the finishing touch, now you're ready to take on Monday.

Tuesday

Tuesday is the slightly more chilled sister to Monday. Go minimal in cigarette trousers and a drop-armhole vest with pool slides. Adjust the smartness of your footwear according to your office vibes, but keep it monochrome. A dark lip and groomed brow work wonders with this clean combo.

Wednesday

For hump day, opt for a statement skirt to get some breeze around your pins. Your fave cotton tee will pair down the feminine skirt, and chunky flats are a good option.

Thursday

Or as we like to say, Friday eve. Also the time when you just CBA to put a look together, so it's time for the failsafe dress. A simple stripe is always easy to wear, and these lace-up sandals make for a perfect en-route #fwis. Just throw on your smartest jacket to pull it all together, so you're not stroming in swinging bare arms.

Friday

Aaaand relax. It's all coming to a close and tomorrow you'll be lazing around in the park avec Rosé. Don the excellent summer staple: the smart playsuit. Smartsuit. Maybe not. Anyway this one from ASOS looks sassy and smart without making you look like a child in art class. Comfy heels grow it all up a bit, so you're ready for the Friday night pub session. Just don't drink too much as you'll find yourself struggling with the zip in the loo with your boobs out way too often.
