Triple Denim Challenge

Ever wanted to do a Britney and wear top to toe denim but find it just too damn scary? Then let us show you how. Using stuff you already own.

First, take your denim shirt. You know the one, the light wash one that you wear every summer which ends up covered in sun tan lotion. Not so sexy. Wash it. If you don't own one (what the hell have you been wearing all your life?) then check out this cool style from Rails with its printed on pockets.

Next, find your ripped mom jeans, that you and everyone else bought last summer when we decided that boyfriend jeans needed to morph into mom jeans. But no one can really understand why, or tell the difference. Whichever relative related version of jean you have will be just fine. If yours aren't already ripped, then add some slashes, to mix up the textures on your top and bottom half.

The key to wearing all over denim is to vary the feel and colours going on, so grab your white denim jacket, and pop over the top. You're going to want some sort of bright, zesty summer looking accessory, like a tassel necklace, or festival inspired stacks of bracelets - dig out the friendship bracelets and beads you rocked last summer and haven't worn since.

The finishing touch? If you dare, and you own a pair, slip on your denim sliders/trainers/loafers. Too far? We think not.

If you're looking to refresh your denim, here's your shopping list...
