Whichever way you may have spent the last few months of this year, we’d bet that you’re ready for something to look forward to. We have once again joined forces with TK Maxx on their Give Up Clothes For Good campaign, their long-running initiative with Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People which funds vital research to help more children and young people survive cancer with a good quality of life. And to celebrate our renewed partnership, we hosted an exclusive VIP event that you can still enjoy from the comfort of your very own sofa.

Our panel of Grazia experts spent the evening with Laura Whitmore via Zoom to talk all things fashion, style and sustainability. We asked Laura your questions and we joined her on a tour of her wardrobe, where she gave her top tips for decluttering and shared the stories behind some of her most-loved items that she’s now donated to Give Up Clothes For Good this season. But don’t worry if you missed it – you can still watch the whole event for free.

In case you haven’t heard, Give Up Clothes For Good is encouraging us all to donate our pre-loved quality clothing, homeware and accessories in order to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK for Children & Young People. Whether you had a lockdown clear-out or just want to reorganise your wardrobe for the new season, all you have to do is fill a bag with said pre-loved quality items and take it to your nearest TK Maxx store. It couldn’t be easier.

Around 4,500 children and young people are diagnosed with cancer every year in the UK. While more of these 0-24 year olds are surviving than ever before, the disease still claims the lives of about 510 people from this age group, which equates to nearly 10 deaths every week. But since 2004, TK Maxx has raised over £37 million for Cancer Research UK's work into children's and young people's cancers, so by participating in the Give Up Clothes for Good initiative, you really will be making a big difference.

Plus, by donating your pre-loved quality clothes, you’ll be giving your clothes a second life, saving them from landfill and contributing to a more sustainable society. It really is a win-win situation.

If you still need some inspiration, all you have to do is scroll down to watch the full video, where you’ll be able to see our full conversation with Laura. The best part? You can enjoy it from home, sitting comfortably in your slippers. What could be better?
