The 1970s are back with a bang! In this week's main fashion shoot we walk you through 10 years of flared pants, sleek suiting, luxe leathr and disco decadence that add up to the most eclectically chic decade of all time.
Contributing fashion editor who styled the shoot says of the look: "One of the most dominant trends for Spring Summer 2015 was the 1970s, the decade where fashion reigned. However the early and late parts were heavily influenced by the decades before and after."
"The early 1970s still had the flowery flowing dresses and fringing in its loosest form, leftover from the 'Hippy' 60s. In the mid 1970s, the silhouettes begin to be more Studio 54; figure hugging flared jeans, waisted mini dresses and sequins."
"The end of the decade and the flares are narrowing, the silhouette more body-con and the shoulders are widening, the precursor for the Dynasty era."
