Forget Danniella Westbrook’s iconic (sadly not in a good way – though we do admire a woman with a passion) one-woman Burberry crime scene of 2004. Because Burberry’s become cool again.
Crucially, not cool again in the way that Olivia Palermo and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will suddenly be wearing it, but cool in the way that Cara’s recently been rocking a Burberry scarf, having shot the new campaign with Kate Moss. And my best mate just bought a Burberry bucket bag off eBay, which was a steal. In fact, loiter around certain parts of London right now and you’ll find strong bisections of Burbs.
We’ve recently been thinking that a Burberry crew neck could sort of look the schvitz when worn with mega-cuffed boyfriend jeans and some flatform loafers, no? Kind of like ‘boyfriend mod’ meets ‘nineties chav’. Which, actually, is exactly the look that we've been struggling to nail. Hurrah!
Vintage Burberry Sweatershirt, £104, eBay.
