As the summer draws to a close and the darker evenings creep in, it can only mean one thing. Film season is upon us. And this week the media attention is scrambling to the shores of Venice for the launch of the world’s oldest film festival.

Ever since the event was founded in 1932, Venice Film Festival has been notorious for its Italian finesse, romantic scenes and of course, the best dressed. And this year has been no exception.

The first day saw the premiere of highly anticipated La La Land, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling. And the dazzling musical met unanimous praise, launching what shall be a rather successful year in the film sphere.
