Brides-to-be, hold onto your imaginary veils! Valentino's couture collection (their third this year, no less) was nothing short of a wedding dream. From chiffon and tulle gowns for the princess wannabes amongst us to peasant-like crochet dresses for a boho beach babe and mini crepe shifts with matching coats that would suit the Nouvelle Vague heroines of the ‘60s, the catwalk was a cacophony of cream, white and silver. Yep, we can hear wedding bells a'ringin.

And the FROW was no less well-attired, naturally – see above. Some of our favourite best-dressed beauties appeared: Sophia Coppola, Olivia Palermo, Mia Moretti and Karolina Kurkova were just a few of Signor Valentino’s chosen girls who modelled the designer’s finery.

And who wouldn’t jump at the chance? In a complimentary crowd of black, pepto-bismol pink and burgundy, it was as if a catwalk were going on either side of the stage too.
