When it comes to country getaways, it doesn't get much better than the just-opened Soho Farmhouse. UGG hosted a fashion retreat last week, throwing a barn party and overnight stay at the Farmhouse with the likes of Suki Waterhouse, Georgia May Jagger, Immy Waterhouse and Chloe Norgaard. Oh and Grazia Daily too.
Our 24 hours in the Oxfordshire countryside kicked off with a farm feast in a barnyard, where we tucked into hearty dishes including roast chicken pie, macaroni cheese and apple crumble. Unlike most fashion parties, the vibe was 'night at the farm' with hay bales, cashmere throws and log fires. There was plenty of champagne too, obviously.
Speaking of fashion, Suki Waterhouse was the definition of cosy in an oversized red jumper and drawstring skirt, with rolled over classic UGG boots. While her younger sister Immy wore a deep red dress with an oatmeal cable-knit sweater wrapped around her waist and classic UGGs. The good thing about partying in UGG boots? They were able to spend most of the night on the dance floor.
The real thing to be seen (and Instagrammed) wearing though on the UGG Classic Escape were the caramel fleece robes - as modelled perfectly by Miss Immy Waterhouse.
Before jetting off to Paris Fashion Week, Suki and Immy joined in on the country activities including horse riding and cycling. Every guest at the Soho Farmhouse has a Foffa Bike waiting outside their cabin. That, along with the outside bath tub, jar full of cookies and full range of Cowshed products in each cabin make Soho Farmhouse the ultimate indulgent getaway.
The event was to mark the new take on the classic UGG boot - the Classic Luxe. Read our interview with the new campaign star, Carolyn Murphy, here.
