If you don't live in London then you might not have paid a visit to the emporium of excellence that is & Other Stories. Which is annoying, I grant you, but they do have great online store – and who needs an IRL changing room when I am doing the hard work for you?!

What I found on my recent visit to & Other Stories HQ for Changing Room Selfies is a great haul of gear that would work for work and for evening drinks, because there's no doubt that everyone is over getting changed in the bogs at work. Here are my top picks.
The ladylike shirt dress
I felt immeasurably wholesome in this super-pretty shirt dress, which can be readily casualled up with a pair of trainers – as demoed here. Good for ladies with a larger bust, this one is, as it's cinched nicely at the waist to stop you looking blocky.
The fashion girl duo
If you see a chick in a fisherman knit, leather A-Line skirt and some sneaks, guaranteed she works in fashion. It's low-key but cool and guess what, you don't have to work in fashion to wear it. If you work somewhere smart, swap for courts and then back to trainers again for the pub.
Cotton Blend Sweater, £55 and Leather Skirt, £225
The LWD
This has got an incredible fit, this dress – if you're into fit and flare, as a silhouette, then get this on your bod ASAP. I rolled up the sleeves as it felt a bit too 'done' for me. It's ribbed as well – for extra pleasure (sorry not sorry.)
Dress available in store (and for that I am sorry)
The almost-too-sexy jumpsuit
How sexy is too sexy? I guess this might come close. I would absolutely wear this banging jumpsuit to work (and play) but then I would also wear thigh-chaffing cut-offs, so trust my judgement you should not. If you're worried, pop a camisole underneath.
The Legally Blonde option
For any Elle Woods fans, there's a whole lotta pink down & Other Stories way this season. Try a super-thin bubblegum pink sweater and grey carpet skirt with pink swatches, if you're of the girlier state of mind.
Wool Sweater, £39 and Wool Blend Skirt, £55
The deconstructed shirt dress
For anyone allergic to the 'waisted' dress (see #1 above) this straight up and down shirt dress is easy, fuss-free dressing at its finest – but still smart enough for all the apexes in your social calendar.
Botanic Print Dress, £65
