Ok, not all of them. But a lot.

We Try On All The Stripes In H&M So You Don’t Have To

Shopping in Oxford Circus is a challenge that you need to mentally prepare yourself for, especially if you're planning a trip to H&M. But I was determined to earn my fashion stripes and check out what the Scandi hot spot had to offer me.

Stripes are always in fashion one way or another, but I was curious to try translating the trend in a different way to a breton top!

1. Little House on the Prairie

Okay so maybe this isn’t a completely different take on stripes, however two birds, one stone, as I managed to get two big summer trends in one look – stripes and off the shoulder. If you’re going on holiday soon, this is definitely a winner for beach dressing.

(Also, fell in love with these faux Birkenstocks, which unabashedly feature themselves in every outfit.)

2. ** The Craft**

I love a good maxi skirt, especially one that’s a bit 90s grunge, with front buttons and a long split. Paired with a black and white tank, the result is summer Goth.

Skirt £24.99, Tank £12.99 (now £7), Shoes £19.99 (top and skirt available in store)

3. NBA

A bit of a weird one, not going to lie. Trying to pair a super girly cold shoulder top with culottes a bit reminiscent of boy’s basketball shorts is a tricky combo!

Top £24.99, Culottes £14.99 (available in store), Shoes £19.99** **

4. Beetlejuice

I nicked this look from a mannequin… Definitely something to wear on your hols or even just to lounge around in, especially if you want to replicate Sweeney Todd’s look.

Top £12.99, Shorts £7.99, Shoes £19.99

5. 2 in 1

At a festival but forgotten your tent? Have no fear, the tent dress is here! I actually really loved this dress despite how wide it was - really comfortable, super silky, and everyone loves a low back (so much that I took two selfies).

Dress £39.99, Top £24.99 (now £15), Shoes £19.99 (available in store)

6. Dazed and Confused

If I could have lived through any decade fashion-wise, it would have definitely been the 70’s (also probably for the music) - suede, flares, platforms, patchwork, vibrant colours, and peace and love. Here I am dressed as an extra on the set of cult film Dazed and Confused.

Top £12.99, Skirt £24.99, Shoes £19.99 (available in store)
