NYE. We have a love-hate relationship with it. It sounds like such a good idea, I mean, who wouldn't want to have the funnest night ever and at midnight totally celebrate the idea that the next year is 100% going to be the best year of your life? Except that's a lot of pressure, and suddenly where, how, with who, and what you're going to wear seems like one hell of a big deal.

So we headed to & Other Stories to try on some options for you - now you just have to nail the who, what, where.

**The LBD Option, Cause Let's Be Honest We'll All End Up Wearing One

This keyhole dress has a sheer leopard print effect to it, and feels uber glam. There's a bit of a Studio 54 vibe going on with this one - perfect for if you're spending New Year's in a moody-lit wine bar and have plans to suck someone's face off at midnight.

Dress, £125

**The 'If You Have To Have Sequins' Then Try This

**

If you don't feel ready for festivities unless you're decked out in something sparkly, try this striped sequin shift dress. The boxy shape adds a bit of an adrogynous edge compared to your average glittery party dress, and it's super roomy - ideal for breaking out your mad moves.

Dress, £65

**The 'I'm Playing It Cool' Totally Couldn't Give A Toss It's NYE

**

Who said you had to doll up for NYE? If you're heading to a house party or just can't be bothered with the trauma of stuffing yourself into a dress, then buy a new pair of black skinnies and a slick shirt. This silver striped shirt has glitzy metallic threads running through it, and cool bolt like little buttons. Plus you can actually wear it again in the New Year for work. Bonus.

Shirt, £65, Jeans, £45

**The School Disco Party Dress, Because Why The Hell Not

**

I remember the days when the school Christmas party (we were in bed on NYE) required a good old fashioned party dress, and this fluro printed version with it's flared skirt took me right back. Pair with a neon clutch and a leather jacket.

Dress, £79

**The Designer Collab, To Make You Feel A Million Dollars

**

Sadie Williams's collaboration with & Other Stories is one of my favourites so far, and the rally girl metallic separates are a fun option for NYE. Paired together, this sweater and leather skirt feel like a full-on party outfit, but separate them and you've got two new additions to your normal wardrobe.

Skirt, £145, sweater, £45

**The Sophisticated Choice, If You Have Something Sensible Planned

**

Have grand ideas of spending NYE in a fancy restaurant and ringing in the new year with a champagne saucer in hand like Gatsby? Ok so it probably won't happen. But you can at least look the part, with this pearl print long tea dress. The pearl print is super cool (you can get other bits in the same design if you're not into the dress) and the actual pearls sewn to the collar mean you don't need to stress about accessories.

Dress, £79
