Because eBay has a brilliant selection of Mexican smock dresses, which we can tell you first-hand are just as good as the ones you’d find on that very beach. Without any haggling.
Loose white smocks are a perennial staple with a tan and an embroidered one makes them much more authentic (even if the experience of actually acquiring it isn”t perhaps quite so genuine.) Wear with sandals and some fine gold bracelets and look as relevant now as 10 years ago – and in 10 years’ time – in pretty much the best trend-less summer staple you’ll find.
