We Try On All The Best Knitwear In Gap So You Don’t Have To

Autumn has arrived! Whilst I'm still braving bare legs and getting all confused by this very British weather, it's time to start thinking about updating my wardrobe with some cosy knitwear to get me through the colder months. This time I'm heading to GAP to see what they have in store...

The Knitted Bomber

Oh hey, my new favourite thing! I'm pretty obsessed with the shape of bomber jackets and this one is no exception. It's fluffy and so cosy, need I say more? Teamed with a bright pair of figure hugging cords (I'm definitely coming back for these, they make my bum look amazing. Not going to lie...) and a classic white shirt, this outfit it perfect to go from a day in the office to a meal out with friends without the stress of changing.

Jacket, not available online but here's a similar version, £59.95; shirt, £29.95; cords, £39.95

The Autumnal Dress

Don't you just love it when a dress matches your lipstick? Burgundy is a colour I just can't get bored of in autumn, particularly on accessories and knitwear! I always find it hard to pull of a midi dress, but with the long sleeves helping with the proportions and teamed with a simple pair of black boots, this is something that could definitely become my go-to autumn ensemble.

Dress, £49.95

The Cashmere Combo

Cashmere, y u so soft? Whilst my budget can't stretch to all cashmere everything, I probably should be a grown up and actually invest in a piece or two that will last me a good few years. I love the open front cardi - I can totally imagine wearing this on a chilly stroll along the beach or cosied up on the sofa with a good book...

Jumper, £99.95; cardigan, £129.95: jeans £44.95

The Cosy Jogger

I still can't quite get over how SOFT these trousers are. I tend to look like a little bit of a slob around the house (hello Monsters University T-shirt and an old pair pyjama bottoms), so these are a comfy yet stylish alternative for wearing on a lazy day. Makes it far less embarrassing when I answer the door for a delivery AND I can pop to my local Sainsbury's without getting judged for my fashion choices - result!

Top, £9.95; Joggers, £34.95

The Neon Knit

I'm not really one to embrace neons, but this cable knit certainly caught my eye! It's a welcome alternative to the usual cream coloured knits that you can find on the high street, plus I love the height of the neckline too - perfect for trying one of those faux bobs I always see girls doing on Instagram (look at me trying to be trendy!).

Jumper, £44.95; Jeans, £49.95

The Classic Stripe

Well, it wouldn't be a trip to GAP without finding the perfect classic stripe top. Warm, simple and never goes out of style, what more do you want? I so need to invest in some of these!

Jeans, £49.95; Top, £35.95
