There's nothing like wearing prints to push me out my comfort zone! I love 'em, but always ditch printed clothes before heading to the till in fear that I won't have the confidence to wear them, leaving them unworn and unloved in the depths of my wardrobe. Well that's about to change, this week I headed to Monki to check out their playful prints this season...

The zig-a-zig-ah co-ord

So here's the story from A to B - this abstract zig zag printed co-ord is my new fave thing. Tops with high necks and mid length sleeves are all over the high street at the mo, I can't get enough of them!

The leopard-print skirt

'Adding roar to fashion since 2006' - this tee couldn't say it better. It seems like I'm the only one in the world who doesn't own a leopard-print skirt... I mean, even my mum owns one! I'm seriously missing out. Classic and a little bit sexy, this skirt looks perfect dressed down with a simple tee and would look fierce with a black polo neck, heels and a slick of red lipstick. Roar!

Top; £10, Skirt; £30

The oversized houndsooth jumper

Just like when you discover pockets on a dress, discovering that a jumper has fleecy lining is one of those sartorial surprises that brings a smile to my face. The hot changing room wasn't the best environment to try on this snazzy jumper, but I can totally see myself wearing this for a walk around the park with my boyfriend and for running errands on a chilly afternoon. It's so damn chic and cosy!

Jumper; £35, Jeans; £30

The Morris-esque dress

Reminding me slightly of House of Hackney's offerings from their AW15 William Morris collection (with a much more affordable prize tag), this dress is SO up my floral street. Oversized and floaty, it's the ideal dress to wear for the many Sunday dinners we'll be having in the coming months. Tis the season and all!

Dress; £35

The patterned tee

Having a few patterned tops in your wardrobe is perfect for days when you want to look like you've made an effort without y'know, actually making an effort. The patchwork print on this number is pretty cute. Even cuter when teamed with a denim mini skirt <3

Top; £10, Skirt; £25

The statement dress

Oh bodycon, you are a hard one to pull off. I mean literally... I nearly got stuck in this dress. Bodycon isn't really a friend of mine, but I'm loving the playful print, midi length and long sleeves! So babin'.

Dress; £30, (This is also available as a top, for a bargain £8)
