Topshop Archive launches in store and online today, and we’re pretty damn excited. The favourite high street brand has taken #TBT to a new level, with pieces dug out of the archives and brought straight into 2015. Now you’ve got all obsessed over the collection, we’re going to prove to you why it’s time to invest, with three ways to wear a stand-out dress with your existing wardrobe.
The Little Red Dress (LRD) is probably not a term you’re familiar with because we think we might have just invented it - an obvious spin off the typical LBD, but brighter and one might even argue more versatile. This Topshop version ticks all of our metaphorical boxes; it’s a beautiful colour, with a flattering fit and a little flair (see; small attached cape, flare sleeves, vintage neckline). The real bonus? You can wear it from day to night and feel like Jessica Rabbit regardless; if that hasn’t sold you yet, then we don’t know what could.

Day Time
The dress has an old school vibe about it; make it a little more every-day casual by playing on that in a slightly unexpected way. Oversized college jackets and little sneakers make you look really cool, and are also wonderfully comfortable staples: two birds, one stone.
Night Time
This is where you throw caution to the wind and embrace the free spirited seventies sex goddess that has been waiting to be unleashed since you watched Almost Famous. Calf high suede boots and a pendant necklace make this dress evening ready without shadowing over its delicate detailing.
Work Time
What do you do when you have something you aren’t quite sure is appropriate for work? You add loafers, and a leather jacket if you have a liberal boss. Bright red might not be the most subtle work attire but heck, skirt suits are pretty boring. Bonus: the tiny cape attached will make you perform better at work…or so we’ll tell our boss.
