We caught up with Tali Lennox at last night's launch of avant garde sunglasses brand Futura's Silhouette sunglasses (fyi, very Lady Gaga and modelled by Tali) at MATCHESFASHION.COM's supremely well scented townhouse - and quizzed her for 5 minutes about her favourite things.
The Debrief: So you're the new face of Futura 14. Who do you love sunglasses?
**Tali Lennox: **I love them so much. They are so good for a hangover. I like glasses that are a little bit quirky, particularly with coloured frames and I like funky shaped rims, too. I recently bought a cool pair from Thierry Lasry. My favourite sunglasses store - and I know this is a weird name - is Fabulous Fanny's, really near my apartment in New York, in the East Village. They just stock the best vintage sunglasses.
DB: What are your sunglasses tips for spring?
**TL: **Colours! I feel like I've been drowning in big coats and baggy jeans, all winter. New York has been so cold. So I'm really looking forward to wearing tons of bright colours, with an old vintage t-shirt and denim cut-offs.
DB: And who will you be wearing now the sun has (kinda) got his hat on?
TL: I love Mary Katrantzou. She's so trippy! And Christopher Kane and Miu Miu. Aside from that, I really don't follow the shows. I live on my own and in my own little bubble! Honestly. I'm an artist and I've been painting a lot recently. I want to do an exhibition of my oil paintings soon. I'm also studying acting. I'm doing a little bit of modelling still, but I'm really just exploring things.
DB: And what do you think of your mum's [Annie Lennox] foray into modelling in M&S's new Leading Lady campaign for SS14?
TL: I love it. She looks really cool! She has always strayed away from doing the whole fashion thing, which I really respect. And this isn't really modelling, it's about her personality. It's awesome.
