Joan Smalls, Anja Rubik, Barbara Palvin and Irina Shayk brought supermodel glamour to one of the most magical events on the fashion calendar this weekend – Intimissimi on Ice.
Staged annually in the romantic Italian town of Verona (famous for Romeo and Juliet’s balcony) the ice skating show is a major talking point post-fashion month.
This year’s edition, 'One Amazing Day', told the story of Bel, who along with her mysterious suitor Hero is invited to a masquerade ball by ‘The Match Maker’. On the way the lovers are separated, with both travelling through enchanted forests, circus fairs and magical cities.
Olympic skater Kiira Korpi took on the leading role of Bel, while seasoned Intimissimi on Ice star Stephane Lambiel played Hero.
The spellbinding spectacle was accompanied by a performance by none other than world-famous tenor Andrea Bocelli.
The show also saw the debut of a special edition bra, designed to mark 20 years of Intimissimi. The 'Monica' strapless bra features 325 Swarovski crystals of different sizes, and is available for just one month.
