The second series of Stranger Things is almost upon us (October 27 - we're counting down the days) and it seems like designer Nicolas Ghesquiere is just as excited as us. The Louis Vuitton creative director sent one of his models down the spring/summer 2018 runway yesterday wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with a Stranger Things poster - one he had imagined himself.
Featuring the four young male stars - Will, Dustin, Mike and Lucas - but sadly missing cult icon Eleven (played by Millie Bobby Brown) - the design was reminiscent of movie posters from the 1980s, with cut-outs of the boys as well as a scene of them on their bikes as the backdrop.

Ghesquiere is known for being a fan of the hit TV show and was pictured with the actors last season, sharing the snap on Instagram saying 'GOT STRANGERS IN THE HOUSE TODAY'. In fact, the genesis of this season's must-have T-shirt came about after that meeting, as he explained to Vogue after yesterday's show.
'I met the kids last season, and we had a very good time,' he said. 'And so we spoke and we thought it was very funny, maybe, to do a little citation of the series that is coming out soon in the show. It’s always great to have a little accident like that in the styling, like if the girl has kept her T-shirt from backstage in a way, and so Stranger Things . . . I think it was one of the most wanted clothes backstage by the girls.'
13-year-old Millie Bobby Brown has become a particular favourite with the fashion world since the show hit Netflix last year, sitting front row alongside co-star Winona Ryder at Coach in February. Since then she has become the face of Calvin Klein, attending Raf Simons' latest show last month, too.
