Despite the fact that it doesn't have an online store, Primark is still one of the high street's success stories. Of course, this is largely down to its affordable prices and strong presence on the high street, despite a turbulent time for many brands. It could also be down to its hugely successful collaborations, the latest of which is about to arrive in stores.
This is the second collection that Stacey Solomon has fronted for the brand, having released the debut range last year. It sold out in record timing, partly down to the clothes of course, but also thanks to Stacey's infectious and warm personality.
'I’m so overwhelmed and excited to have been asked to design another collection for Primark. I’m so thrilled that my last collection went down so well, and I can’t quite believe I’m doing it all again,' she said. 'I’ve loved Primark since I was a little girl, and I loved that I could afford the clothes but never compromised the quality. I love that there’s something for everyone and those are some of the big inspirations behind my newest collection. There are skirts you can wear with heels or trainers, baggy jumpers and statement tops. It’s all super comfy because I can only wear comfy these days. It is muted tones mixed with slogan tees, monochrome with a little bit of tartan sprinkled on top. I can’t wait to share it with you all.'
The collection is full of plaid pieces, printed midi skirts and really lovely coats that truly look far more expensive than they are. Prices range from around £4-£35, too, making it one of the most affordable ways to stock up for the new season.
