After storming the front row at New York Fashion Week in February, Sophia Richie is now gracing the cover of ASOS Magazine - and she's just 16 years old! And quite likely cooler than we'll ever be.
Of course, Sofia is no stranger to show business. Her father is famous singer Lionel Richie and her sister is Nicole - yep, major fashion icon and TV star. With appearances at fashion weeks and her first major modelling gig at 15 for Mary Grace Swim, 2015 might be the year that everything is taking off for the young star.
Sofia certainly knows where she wants her career to go, telling ASOS Magazine: ‘Modelling is my thing right now… Vogue is a massive goal for me. I hope my character will make people see past the fact I’m not 6ft 5. Eventually I want to be a designer… my collection would be high-end, no cheap materials, but good quality that’s worth buying and having in your closet’.
And her current career object seems to influence her personal obsession, which is Gisel Bundchen. ‘It’s really bad, I want to be her. Her Instagram is too good…That whole life! It’s too good’, she said about her.
Style-wise however she seems to be mainly influenced by her own sister, adding: ‘. Fifty per cent of my interest in fashion is Nicole… she’s taught me to be myself with my style. I love the way the Olsens do comfy chic’.
