'I’m almost loathed to share my love for Makers & Brothers with people because it’s my secret spot,' says Lou Stoppard, editor of ShowStudio. Markers & Brothers is the brainchild of two brothers, Jonathan and Mark Legge, and it all started out of a shed in Dublin - pretty damn cool.
'The whole concept is the antithesis of fast fashion – everything is made with such care and the site is curated beautifully - as a digital nerd I appreciate that,' Lou explains. 'When you work for a website you can sometimes feel overwhelmed and bombarded by life online – the banner ads, pop-ups, email offers etc,' she tells us. We get that. 'Whenever I feel a bit tired of e-shopping and everything feels too forced and flashy I’ll have a scroll through Makers & Brothers and feel at peace.'

**Some Androgynous Bling **
Cufflinks, £82
'I love a girl in cufflinks. If you’re a jewellery addict (like me) you shouldn’t overlook your cuffs as a new place for adornments if you’re running out of a space on your fingers or ears,' says Lou. We love the minimal design of these cufflinks, but they're still striking enough to wear with just a white shirt and jeans.
**Chunky Knitted Socks **
Socks, £7.80
'Just imagine these sumptuous green socks with a chunky pair of heels by Marni or Dries and a little dress,' says Lou. 'There's something sexy and cosy about them.'
**The Most Minimalist Ring Ever **
Ring, £67
'This ring is so simple but so striking. To me, paired back jewellery is so much classier than jazzy baubles,' says Lou. 'I’m loathed to use the phrase ‘normcore jewellery’ but that’s exactly what this is!'

**A Savvy Trinket Plate **
Jewellery tray, £102
There's something distinctly adult about having somewhere to put your earrings that isn't simply wherever you took them off. 'This cheerful little tray is a good way to avoid loosing earrings around your flat,' says Lou.
**A Token Bit Of Posh Sheep **
Sheep, £49
'I think this little lady and I would be best friends,' says Lou. 'She’s called Brigid.' We have no idea why you would need a sheep, but oh how we love him too.
