One can only dream of the treasures that fill Naomi Campbell's wardrobe. The supermodel has been working in the fashion industry for over 30 years, after all. But for her latest venture, she is not only giving us all a glimpse into said wardrobe, she's also letting us shop it.
On 27 November, Campbell will launch her fourth Fashion For Relief pop-up shop in Westfield London, where customers will be able to pick from pieces donated straight from the supermodel's own wardrobe, as well as from items donated by her famous friends and fashion's most notable brands. It's the first time in five years that the pop-up shop has opened – the last shop, in 2014, completely sold out of all stock in just seven days.
'It’s truly a pleasure to be partnering with Westfield London again to launch our fourth Fashion For Relief designer pop-up store,' said Campbell. 'This is a unique opportunity for everyone to get their hands on some really special fashion pieces at accessible prices. Whether you are shopping for Christmas presents or just treating yourself, you can do so here knowing that the money is going to help improve the futures of young Londoners.'
Indeed, all funds raised from the pop-up will go towards education and employability programmes for young people, including the Mayor’s Fund for London.
So, what's on offer? Well, there are some bespoke Alexander McQueen T-shirts, as well as some silk scarves made especially for Fashion For Relief by CHROME HEARTS. And some of the major designer pieces will come courtesy of Alaïa, Gucci and Vivienne Westwood. As well as providing some major shopping opportunities, the pop-up will also play host to a series of activities for the week it's open, including presentations from new, upcoming designers.
So, whether or not you buy friends and family the best Christmas presents of all time or you just treat yourself, you can do so safe in the knowledge that you're contributing to a brilliant cause in the process.
