Earlier this month Chanel announced that they are entering the world of e-commerce, opening the 'doors' of their online shop as soon as the end of the year.
But Chanel have dipped their toes into the world of online shopping a little earlier than expected, as today it has been revealed that they are launching an edited collection of fine jewellery on Net A Porter. This is not a drill.
This is the first time the house have sold anything other than beauty products online. The collection, named Coco Crush, includes five rings and a cuff in 18-karat white and yellow gold designed by Chanel's Studio of Creation. This is just a "pop-up" - the 'shop-in-a-shop' will be open for just three weeks.
