As the Game Of Thrones saying goes, winter is here. Well, nearly. So to prepare for the drop in temperature, our writer Daisy Keens has been scouting out a suitable coat that will help see us all through the chilly season. And after searching high and low, she's found a sassy AF shearling one from fashion brand Very. Here's how she recommends wearing it with three evening looks...
Statement Slogan
First date outfits can be tricky, because after all, you want to look show-stopping, but not too try-hard. The key to nailing an effortlessly cool look is to go low-key with your outfit, and amp it up with makeup and footwear. Try tucking a slogan tee into vintage-looking, high-waisted jeans, and accessorising with some statement heels. Then, chuck on an oversized shearling coat and apply a swipe of bold lipstick to finish. Warning: kissing may cause smudging.
Disco Tech
Going out out? Then nothing other than a rave-ready mini dress will suffice. For autumn/winter, wear a dark-coloured dress (think black, burgundy or midnight blue), and if you really want to stand out, then opt for one that's covered in sequins. Then, to look even more slaying, slip on a pair of thigh high boots, clip on some hoop earrings, and drape a furry shearling coat over your shoulders. You'll be ready to give Queen B a run for her money!
Stars In Your Eyes
Meeting some mates for drinks (and nibbles) after work is one of our fave past-times, and we're guessing it's one of your faves, too. If you're already wearing jeans, you can go straight from the office to the bar by trading in your work jumper for a bold sequin top. Don't forget to accessorise with some quirky evening earrings (we're obsessed with Very's out-of-this-world star ones), and a warm, shearling coat.
