Selena’s Style Reinvention: See Her Best Looks So Far

She’s just been crowned the reigning Queen of Instagram (69.5million followers and counting, seriously), and it hasn’t escaped our attention that Selena Gomez has undergone a serious fashion transformation in recent months.

Gone are the sugary-sweet prom queen styles of the Disney era and what we fondly refer to as 'the Bieber years': in their place is a far sleeker, more fashion-forward look, experimenting with a mix of haute couture and pieces by some of the industry's most buzz-worthy labels.

Selena was announced as a muse for Louis Vuitton by the brand's creative director Nicholas Ghesquiere earlier this year, joining the likes of Oscar-winning actress and rising style star Alicia Vikander (who wears LV and only LV on the red carpet) Bond Girl Lea Seydoux and Vuitton campaign star Jaden Smith.

It's news that has seriously upped her kudos with the fashion crowd - and in an age where social media following equates to serious fashion klout, it doesn't hurt that Selena is a founding member of Instagram's most infamous girl squad, regularly snapped with Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and BFF Taylor Swift.

Since the start of her aptly named Revival tour, Selena has been honing her look with Kate Young, one of Hollywood's most in-demand stylists who has previously worked with Sienna Miller, Natalie Portman and Dakota Johnson. Steered by Kate, Selena's wardrobe has become a who's who of fashion, encompassing rising stars like British designer JW Anderson and Parisian 'It' brand Vetements, classic Americana like Michael Kors and more glamourous evening styles by Dior and Vuitton.
