Listen up brides-to-be, because Sarah Jessica Parker's just solved your wedding shoe woes. The actress-turned-designer is expanding her eponymous SJP Collection line to include a range of satin heels for brides. And before you ask: YES there's a royal blue courts with more than a passing resemblence to the pair Carrie wore on the day she finally married Big.
If you've already got your 'something blue' covered, there's styles in a plethora of pretty colours including plum, mint and a classic cream pair, with a light blue ribbon at the heel. And don't worry if you haven't got Carrie's endurance for walking in heels - there's pairs of varying heights.
While her new collection is far from traditional, the actress admits that if she had her wedding day to Matthew Broderick - with whom she tied the knot in 1997 in a black dress - over again she'd take a far more conventional approach to bridal style. "If I were getting married today, I'd likely wear cream, just to have that bridal experience," she told Martha Stewart Weddings. "Now I would want my dress to have an Oscar de la Renta feel, pockets below the waist, a very fitted bodice, a huge skirt, in taffeta or duchesse satin. That silhouette appeals to me because it's old-fashioned yet can look very modern." Sounds dreamy... and like it would look great with a pair of royal blue heels.
