Double leopard hasn't half had some haters. But judging by the fact that everyone from Tom Ford to Carven did it on the catwalk recently, the fashion world's trying to make it a thing. So we decided to get on board - and, you know what, it's not half as scary as it initially sounds. Here's what went down:
**1. It is doable for a date
**
Double leopard can be dinner date-worthy if you go for a faux fur peacoat and some slick-ass court shoes. The transparent PVC (oi oi) detail on these Leopard Pony Hair And PVC pumps, £525, by Gianvito Rossi at Matches Fashion breaks up the leopard-on-leopard density, plus they are sexy as hell. Keep things sharp underneath all that slinkiness with some black leather trousers and a bustier over a tee- which yes, can totally work.

**2. Double leopard can be dressed down
**
If you're into streetwear, double leopard can still work. Try a puffa jacket (this dreamy Argentee puffa jacket £638 by Moncler at Matches Fashion is as mighty as Caroline Brasch-Nielsen's leopard print Lanvin) worn with trusty ripped jeans and Stan Smiths, £70 Adidas, with a mega-luxe iPhone leopard print cover thrown into the mix. This Leopard Print Calf Hair Case, £90, by The Case Factory at Net-a-Porter is ideal.

**3. Or done in a casual way
**
Make double leopard casual and girly with a leopard print skirt and handbag - broken up with an army jacket and some basic Chelsea boots (for added details, add some sheer frilly socks.) This Leopard Goat Hair Leather Skirt, £395, Whistles and matching Alain Leopard Printed Pony Bag, £1,180, by Jerome Dreyfuss (Mr Marant, fyi) at YouSheBe is the luxe matchy matchy of our dreams. Some (the Saint Laurent duffle probably belongs in most dreams) more realisticaly affordable stuff below:
