Romeo Beckham is back in his trench coat in a shower of gold glitter in the Burberry Christmas campaign. This year's campaign celebrates the 15 year anniversary of the British film Billy Elliot and sees Romeo play a Burberry-fied Billy.
Burberry enlisted a couple of the Billy Elliot originals to do a Billy leap in the Mario Testino campaign, including Elton John, who wrote the soundtrack for* Billy Elliot the Musical,* and Julie Walters, who needs no introduction.
Other Great British stars jumping in the campaign include Rosie Huntington Whiteley, James Bay, Naomi Campbell, George Ezra, Michelle Dockery, James Corden and Toby Huntington Whiteley. The film was premiered on Tuesday night at a Burberry party in London, attended by their full Christmas cast.
Christopher Bailey said of the campaign in a release: "Billy Elliot is an incredible film full of so much joy and energy, so it was a real thrill and a great honor to be able to celebrate its 15 year anniversary through our Festive campaign. It was also a huge privilege to work with such amazing and iconic British talent—the cast are quite simply some of the biggest names in film, music and fashion and it was so much fun working with them all to make this special film."
Now the real question is, is Billy Elliot on Netflix?
