Having wowed the world (including the Queen herself) with his floral, pearl-encrusted fashion fests, Richard Quinn went quiet for the past two seasons, eschewing the digital London seasons which emerged from the pandemic. But idle he was most certainly not. As well as making PPE for front-line workers, Quinn has also been working on a fashion film that, after a year of lockdowns, is a creative feast in every sense of the word.

This is Quinn's take on Hollywood – a film that's not just showcasing his autumn/winter 2021 collection but bringing it to life. Enlisting an all-star cast including Drag Race UK's Bimini Bon Boulash and Tayce, as well as models Lila Moss and Lily Cole, Quinn also recruited the Dane Bates Collective dance company, providing them with employment at a time when most theatres remain closed.

There were latex-clad cats and dogs, gargantuan ballgowns and dresses so ornate, they are their own works of art. Even the sets were decorated in Quinn's bold floral prints, including grand pianos and taxis.

Speaking toVogue__, Quinn said: This is a total celebration of creativity. It’s a real fuck you to the pandemic, and shows just what we can do when everything is shut. It was a go big or go home moment.'

Big is most certainly where Richard Quinn went. And we're all ready to follow.

'Bing Bang Bong' isn't the only thing we can't get out of our heads from episode five - we're still thinking about Bimini's vintage-seaside lace look too. Swoon.

Episode six was an excellent week for Bimini. Not only did they triumph in Snatch Game ('the eyes are the nipples of the face') but they also won the runway as an Iris von Herpen-influenced bacterial cell.

As lockdown superhero Dr Isabella-Blows-A-Lot, Bimini was on a mission to defeat the 'beige' and 'basic'. In this Vivienne Westwood-inspired look, we'd say they did it.

Category is: Stoned on the Runway. Bimini subverted the theme with a crystal acne get-up. Shouldn't work... Somehow it does.

Bimini's fashion credentials are being flexed way beyond the main stage. Here she is wearing Art School (the indie label she also walked for at London Fashion Week). Plus, if anyone can bring back skinny brows it's Bimini.
