It seems Christmas has come early for the Duchess of Cambridge with the news that two of her much-loved fashion brands - Preen and L K Bennett - are collaborating.
It was announced yesterday that the London-based brands have worked together to design a 16-piece ready-to-wear collection. Inspired by the floral watercolours of Scottish designer and artist, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, the range consists of dresses, skirts and knitwear.
Inspired by Preen’s catwalk pieces and designer duo Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi’s romantic and polished aesthetic, we can expect vibrant florals, flattering cuts and feminine details. Plus, with prices floating between £195 and £550, the range offers you a chance to bag a piece of Preen for the price of L.K.Bennett.

‘In working with L.K. Bennett, we loved the idea of reaching out to a larger audience, and giving the L.K.Bennett customer a slightly more directional product…. The L.K. Bennett brand is about enduring ‘style and confidence' and it’s these qualities that we were excited to design for,’ Justin Thornton of Preen told US Glamour.
To launch the new collection, Preen and L.K.Bennett tapped model Erin O'Connor to star in the campaign. In the images O’Connor is spotted in a graphic print wrap dress with cut-out shoulder detailing - we can certainly see K-Middy snapping this one up.
While last weekend at London fashion week, professional clothes horse Olivia Palermo was spotted wearing a tangerine orange shirt dress that certainly has the Duchess’ name on it.
