Drunk Kate Moss is our spirit animal. When reports surfaced last year that she blagged her way on to an Easyjet flight in Turkey, three sheets to the wind having swiftly re-toxed after a stint at a detox spa, it was hard not to be reminded that she’d probably be the best razz-bud you could ever meet. And then reports emerged over the weekend that she was escorted off an Easyjet flight from Bodrum for being 'disruptive.' To be honest, that still made us love her - what is it with the millionaire supermodel and budget airlines?

Too many celebrities cling so tightly to the ‘my favourite drink is hot water and lemon’ line that you only find out that they like a tipple when they get done for DUI after a night at the Chateau Marmont, or are papped with booze-induced boss-eye outside the Chiltern Firehouse, which does nothing to dispel the tired idea that women, especially older women, who like a drink are sad lushes with a shameful secret.

But as fellow passengers on Kate’s flight tweeted about her chatting, laughing, and doing nothing to hide how pissed she was, her devil-may-care attitude turned the idea that being publicly tanked up could suggest anything other than simply having fun on its head.

Kate’s often credited with having come up with the Benjamin Disraeli quote, ‘Never complain, never explain’, because basically, she does what she wants and owns it, apparently not caring what anyone thinks of her – drinking and partying included.

You could make an entire tumblr of ‘Kate Moss Drunk’ pictures, and every single one of them, from the snap of her leaving The Golden Age of Couture gala in 2007 with her vintage Dior dress artfully tied up around her thighs, to a shot of her a few Champagnes in at a Vivienne Westwood show in 2008 with her blonde bob drunkenly disheveled to perfection, will make you wish she was your best mate.

Of course, there’s nothing cool about drinking irresponsibly, as anyone who’s spent their Sunday morning with their head in a toilet will well know, but strutting around with as much of a give-a-shit vibe as Kate Moss does after a couple – now that’s cool.

Here’s our favourite pictures of Kate enjoying a drink...
