Remember when Balenciaga managed to launch a sell-out carrier bag for an eye-watering sum of £850? Well, it seems Prada is the next label to join the trend.

The luxury fashion house has launched a paperclip at Barneys but it's not your average WHSmith special. The sterling silver accessory is priced at $185, which is equivalent to approximately £140. Yes, seriously.

And ironically, the accessory is designed to hold money...
