Alexander Wang started it. When the designer famously sent Behati Prinsloo and Georgia Jagger et al swooshing down his New York Spring/Summer 2014 catwalk in boxer shorts and 90% undone button-down shirts, the bedtime for daytime look became 'a thing'.
Now one of our favourite French labels Sandro is in on the game with a pair of pinstripe 'boxer' shaped shorts. Sure, they're not cheap, but they are a winning (if sole) example of 'corporate sleepwear' and would do due diligence as the official successors of our denim ass chaffers, as this summer's slickest pair of shorts. Wear with a striped shirt and look clashy supreme.
Pomme Silk Shorts, £187.62, Sandro.
