She's pretty damn cool, Céline's Creative Designer, Phoebe Philo. Not only did she accept her recent OBE from Prince Charles with the minimum fanfare – 'I just got up that morning and got dressed' she shrugged during her talk at yesterday's Vogue Festival – but she also asserted that she '[doesn't] really like' the fashion industry's preoccupation with 'extreme beauty', oh - and that she's OK with Céline rip-offs.

Unlike Isabel Marant - who refused to reproduce her iconic wedge trainers for her H&M Pour Isabel Marant collaboration, as she felt they'd been ripped off so much – Philo is wise to the fact that Céline is not only really, really expensive, but really, really good. Which means people are going to want it... for less. She's not ashamed about the high price tags, saying: 'The best fabrics in the world and pieces that will last the test of time' - but neither does she have issue with high-street copycats. 'Most of the time I find it really flattering and exciting.'

So there you have it. Permission to copy Céline to the best of your ability. We've taken the legwork out, so now you can do so - with the minimum effort. Hurrah. Here's what you need:

1. A multi-coloured, brush-stroke blouse

stripe

The hero piece of the Céline S/S14 collection, which heralded a collective gasp from it's fashionable audience, on account of Céline's volte-face. Normally all muted minimalism, Phoebe threw some graffiti over her collection this summer. This Blouse in Layered Stripe Placement Print, £36, ASOS is an arty doppelganger.

**2. A monochrome brush tank **

The same artistic whimsy was rendered in monochrome, across racer-back tank tops. This Printed Top, £29.99, Zara (Zara's looking very Céline S/S14 as a whole at the moment, fyi) is a good match.

3. An electric-blue belted coat

Belted coats (and jackets) are having a moment this spring. Get your hands on some electric blue Céline-insp outwear with this Bright Cobalt Hooded Wrap Raincoat, £149 Windsmoor at Debenhams. We know, Debenhams. Touched by Céline, peeps.

4. A stripy midi skirt

Just a glimpse of cotton stripes swishing across your shins is very Céline S/S14. Try this Midi Skirt in Broken Stripe, £22, ASOS and avoid looking too Boden mum in Cornwall by teaming it with a graphic long-line t-shirt, slicked-back hair and black patent mules.

5. Chunky black lace-up sandals

Fugly sandals were born during Phoebe's tenure at Céline and for this summer, you have the chunky soled black lace-up sandals. Luckily, responsive old Zara have come up trumps with these Leather Bio Sandals With Studs, £59.99.

6. A black tunic dress with net underlay

Céline's black drop hem tank dress with a fisherman's net underlay is a sassy take on the LBD, much like this Contrast Bodice Dress, £29.99 Mango which comes with a chiffon pleated skirt. Sod the 'black dress means winter' rule and wear with bare legs and a denim jacket all summer. Very Daria.
