You know that feeling of envy when you see someone wearing something a bit bonkers and looking a bit amazing? You know, she's the type who's thrown on some baggy jeans and knotted that printed headscarf she picked up on holiday in Ghana - but where you wouldn't quite have the confidence to pull it off, she does. Well, that's Adwoa Aboah for you.
The 22-year-old half-British, half-Ghananese model - who has starred in campaigns for Henry Holland, H&M and Topshop - is pretty much surrounded by fashion. Her mum, Camilla Lowther is a leading creative talent agent for all the fashion supremos, her boyfriend is mega hot fashion photographer Tyrone Le Bon and her BFFs includes the all-star girl group that is Suki, Clara, Cara and Georgia. That said, Adwoa totally owns her own look. So we dissected her look:
Lesson one: Find your signature accessory
Adwoa's extensive collection of headscarves - red, yellow, black; she's rarely without one - say as much about her consistent style (something we long for) as they do her super-kuteness. I'm also a long-term fan of the paisley neckerchief, but don't worry if they don't make you salivate. Just follow suit and find an accessory that makes you look and feel great - whether that's a kickass watch or a beautiful necklace - and wear it to death.
Lesson two: F*ck the 'seasonal' wardrobe divide
Ye gods that say we must divide our 'summer' and 'winter' wardrobes (who do they think we are, Miranda Kerr or something?). We say JOG ON. It's all about wearing your floral summer dress with tights in the winter and your heavy aran knits with denim cut-offs in the summer. Adwoa officially flips the bird at the seasonal divide, sporting tartan trousers and pool-slides, whilst in paradise.
Lesson three: Sneakers 4lyf
Ok, so you know somethings a massive trend when even Chanel put trainers on the catwalk. But you just know that Adowa's the kind of girl who's rocked some Nike Air Max for a while, pairing them with shirt dresses, trews, the lot. She's also a fan of the Adidas Superstars, styling out everything from Vuitton to vintage Levi's with them.

Lesson four: You're Gonna Hear [Her] Roar
It's like Katy Perry's personally speaking to Adwoa. The freckle-faced model is a MAJOR fan of the animal print. She's been known to double drop leopard and not look Bette Lynch, as well as going the whole safari and putting leopard print skate shoes, with zebra print socks. If it's not animal print, then it's tartan and stripes and or stripes and camo or tartan and camo. Who says you can't wear more than one print at once?
Lesson five: Pile It Up, Pack It In
Like another of our favourite subjects from The Debrief Dissects Adwoa piles on the jewellery. Hers comes with a kitsch Funky Offish twist: a medley of big hoops, a crucifix, Hotlips knuckleduster from Solange Azagury-Partridge and statement footwear like these Miu Miu clogs. Then, just to throw things perfectly out of whack, she'll add a Wu Tang sweater. Skills.
