Adele wasn't the only one bringing the couture vibes at the Brit Awards last night. Olivia Rodrigo gave new meaning to the very idea of a party dress in a sparkling silver slip.
Designed by Alexandre Vauthier, Rodrigo's haute couture gown was embroidered with thousands of silver sequins, all the way down to her fishtail hem. With it, she wore Stefere jewellery and Giuseppe Zanotti wedges as she picked up the Brit Award for Best International Song.
2022 marks only the second Brit Awards for the 18-year-old but already, her fashion record is flawless to say the least. In 2021, Rodrigo wore not one but two incredible Dior looks, orchestrated by London-based stylist Anna Hughes-Chamberlain.
The first, a day-glo strapless dress, had a full, '50s-inspired skirt and was one of the designs from the fashion house's AW21 collection. The second, a scarlet ensemble, featured a sequin bra top and shorts with a sheer chiffon gown worn over the top, specially created for Rodrigo.
This year's choice of Vauthier sees Rodrigo join a growing list of stars who look to the designer for their most glamorous moments. Recently, he has dressed everyone from Beyoncé to Tessa Thompson to Hailey Bieber, while other fans include Margot Robbie, Rihanna and Jane Fonda.
Perhaps one of Vauthier's most famous creations to date is the red silk, barely-there dress he made for Bella Hadid to wear during the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, featuring a waist-high side split.
After enjoying the Brit Awards in her Vauthier gown, Rodrigo headed to Sam Fender's South London after-party, for which she wore a super sexy take on the LBD.
