Olivia Palermo should be held responsible for a multitude of things. For example, we blame her for when we raced to the hairdressers with photographs of her ‘lob’ demanding a similarly great crop.
We also blame her for an unrealistic portrayal of a job in fashion while starring on The City and not to mention hold her (and husband Johannes Huebl) responsible for giving us unattainable wedding goals.
But one thing we didn’t expect to hold her accountable for is our irrepressible Zara addiction.
The New-Yorker is most commonly found sandwiched between the fashion elite on the FROW at fashion week or stealing the spotlight from other competitive street-stylers.
But unlike the peacocks of fashion month who bring the most outrageous designer looks to the streets, Olivia remains loyal to everyone’s favourite high street label. Zara.
From the iconic white bell-bottom suit to the leopard print shirt which casued a potential crash on the website, we chart Olivia Palermo’s greatest Zara looks of all time…
The White Suit
It was the outfit which undoubtedly ruled the streets last season, with Zara fanatics far and wide flocking to invest in the wrap blazer and matching bell bottom trousers.
Not only did Olivia potentially break the internet with her first outing in the co-ords, she brought it back for a second round. Paired with black heels and a white clutch, Olivia had us all desperately refreshing the Zara homepage.
The Fashion Week Triple Whammy
When Olivia Palermo attended Fashion Week this season, she wore not one but three consecutive Zara outfits. And the best part? They’re all still available in store. She kicked off the week in a floral embroidered Zara shirt with leather flares from the Olivia Palermo x Chelsea 28 collection.
And in true blogger style, Olivia opted for a change of look with a Rebecca Minkoff bell-sleeved sheer blouse, turtleneck khaki jumper and trousers from, you guessed it, Zara. She successfully convinced us all to adopt athleisure in the meantime too.
Before Olivia headed to Paris and resurrected the floral shirt for a second time. Unheard of in the fashion world. She attended the Miu Miu show in the must-have shirt and finished the look with leather trousers and a military style coat.
The Leopard Print Shirt (Which most probably crashed the website)
It was the garment which gave the green light to animal print this season, as it became one of the most photographed Zara looks of all time. The white poplin shirt priced at £26, had us frantically scouring the website, adding several sizes to our basket in the hope of securing the must-have.
Paired with black bell-bottom trousers, the shirt can be donned at work or as Olivia demonstrates, through the day, when worn with ripped jeans.
The Red Carpet Appearance
Olivia may be a regular on the FROW and the first to bag an invite to every awards ceremony going but it isn't enough to persuade her to don designer garments from head to toe. In fact, as any true Zara fan would know, you can adopt the high street look for any occasion.
As Olivia demonstrated at the 66th Cannes Film Festival, in a Roberto Cavalli gold dress with, you guessed it, a Zara blazer.
The Street Style Saviour
Come Fashion Week, the street style set flock to the capital to be photographed in their best ensembles. From fashion peacocks to well, Zara fanatics. And Olivia never fails to make us proud.
Renowned for her ability to mix high-end with high street, Olivia has us all logging into our Zara accounts as soon as the pictures drop. Our bank balances don't stand a chance.
And in celebration of our favourite store, we've documented Olivia Palermo's best Zara moments of all time in the gallery below. So you can curate your next wishlist...

It seems Olivia has a penchant for Zara accessories just like the rest of us, as she is regularly spotted finishing designer garments with the high street retailer's top-sellers.
For example, Olivia attended the New Yorker's For Children's 10th Anniversary A Fool's Fete Spring Dance in 2013 and finished a Katie Ermilio dress with Jimmy Choo shoes and you guessed it, a Zara belt.

But staying true to her values, she chose a Zara embellished blazer to finish the look. That's our girl.
