As international monarchs, politicians and dignitaries gathered outside Westminster Abbey, arriving promptly this morning for the coronation of King Charles III, it was a masterclass in formal day dressing with a serious smattering of polish. At last night's coronation reception held at Buckingham Palace, Queen Letizia looked whip-smart in Victoria Beckham, proving that lime (yes, lime!) is a wearable colour even if you're royalty.
For today's ceremony, Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine, chose a slightly more pared-back but no less impactful colour for her entrance at Westminster Abbey: a pale shade of blue. Arriving with Ukraine's Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Olena was the picture of elegance, wearing a matching dress and coat in a delightful duck egg hue. Paired with optic white heels - a new favourite of the Princess of Wales - it was a winning look.
