Athleisure, the comfiest of fashion trends—the one that laughs in the face of the old notion that fashion is pain— is going nowhere (thank goodness). So, rejoice in the knowledge that you can continue to be both slouchy and stylish in trackies and t shirts in SS18. And just a heads up, adidas can hook you up with an athleisure wardrobe in the coolest shades of primary block colours.
Adidas Originals are reviving their rainbow-hued franchise adicolor, and honestly, it looks like a 70s dream.
Taking inspiration from their past collections adidas have dipped into their archives to curate a colourful and playful revival of their classic 70s styles. It’s the adidas you’ve always loved in the fresh new colours you’re going to love.
The collection moves past gender binaries to focus on colour and style, and the result is a gender-neutral campaign that we can really get excited about. See unisex shorts, and t shirts that can be worn as dresses or tops.
Available in four colours: Bluebird, Fairway Green, Scarlet Red, and Sun Yellow, the block colour tracksuit is what you’ll want to live in when the collection drops.
The Sun Yellow shade is particularly gorgeous and with matching shorts, bum bags, and coats on offer, we’re ready to kit ourselves out in top to toe sunshine.
As for footwear, the Originals in pale green (and yellow, and blue) are guaranteed to be our go-to shoes for the summer.
The adicolor collection will be available globally on 18 January at *adidas.com/adicoloradidas.com/adicolor. *
