Natalia Vodianova and Karlie Kloss are once again teaming up to bring their annual Fabulous Fund Fair to London. Now in its third year, previous events have seen Natalia selling kisses, Karlie selling her Klossies cookies, and celebrities battling it out on bumper cars all in the name of charity. Set up to raise funds for Natalia’s Naked Heart Foundation, the money raised goes towards helping families of children with special needs have a safe place to play. This year’s event promises guests the chance to try their luck on the Wheel of Fortune to win money-can’t-buy prizes (including dinner with Charlize Theron and magic-trick lessons from David Copperfield), ride the newly-created carousel and rub shoulders with the likes of Cara Delevingne, Taylor Swift and Ellie Goulding, who have all attended in previous years.
Here, Natalia exclusively shares her 10 highlights from the past 3 years.
'I can't be thankful enough to Karlie Kloss for inspiring the Fabulous Fund Fair idea and being such a lovely co-host – she’s like my little sister!'
'Stella McCartney was the first to support our new fundraiser in aid of the Naked Heart Foundation and we are honoured to have her again at the Fabulous Fund Fair this year.'
'The most popular attraction of London's Fabulous Fund Fair was bumper cars - everyone loved them! Come and see our new highlight - a real size carousel - at the Roundhouse on 21 February 2017. For one night only...'
'My son Lucas loves magic and when he learnt Dynamo agreed to support our World's First Fabulous Fund Fair it became his highlight of the whole evening.'
'The fabulous Wheel of Fortune was introduced in 2016 and immediately created lots of excitement. The stakes are high, but you cannot lose on this one! We are definitely doing it again this year, can't wait to see it in action...'
'Eva Herzigova was the most hard-working girl at our World's First Fabulous Fund Fair, selling Dior ice-cream the whole night - she told me she had never worked so hard in her life.'
'My great friend Ulyana Sergeenko is the most recognisable Russian designer and I loved how she entertained the Fund Fair guests Russian-style (treating them to our traditional drink and a beautiful smile).'
'My children have been supporting all Naked Heart initiatives from an early age, and not just by attending fun charity galas but also in urban Russia, in those facilities where the Foundation provides help to families of children with special needs - places that one could hardly call fun.'
'It wouldn't be a real funfair if we didn't have sweets. These gorgeous ones are only available at the Fabulous Fund Fair (you can break your diet for that).'
'I wish I could give a big hug to each and every person, who makes this fantastic event possible - all our sponsors and production teams, truly wonderful games hosts, volunteers and guests. Without any of these lovely people the Fabulous Fund Fair in aid of the Naked Heart Foundation simply would not exist.'
This year’s Fabulous Fashion Fund Fair takes place at The Roundhouse in Camden, London on 21st February. For more information visit www.nakedheart.org/en/fundfair/
