It’s the search for a model show that’s taken America by storm, thanks to its explosive catfights and fabulously feisty mentor, Ms Naomi Campbell. Yes, we’re talking about The Face. With tears, tantrums and the word ‘idiot’ thrown out willy nilly among its supermodel mentors Naomi, Karolina Kurkova and Coco Rocha, and a lucrative modeling contract for the lucky winner at the end, to summarise - it's must-watch TV.
In this week's Grazia - OUT TODAY! we reveal that The Face is coming to British shores! Naomi and her two co-mentors (as yet unrevealed) are on the hunt for 24 aspiring models in the UK to appear on the Sky Living show to battle it out.
The model hopefuls will be mentored by Naomi and her co-mentors, and will take part in a series of fashion challenges for some of the biggest British and international brands and be photographed by an iconic fashion photographer. What’s more, the winner will become the face (geddit?) of an international brand. Sounds good? And what's even cooler - YOU could apply to be part of it!
Naomi told Grazia, ‘We’re holding auditions in three weeks and I’m looking for girls who have it all: a beautiful face; a great, healthy toned body; something unique in their look; the personality; and above all strong work ethic and drive.’
Unlike any other modeling shows, the competition is open to everyone. Naomi is looking for girls who have never modeled before, as well as those with previous experience. We simply can't wait for it to start over here!
