Michael Kors Serves Up Natural Glamour For Spring

Entirely in keeping with the easy, breezy, beautiful vibes of New York fashion week thus far was Michael Kors' vision for spring/summer 2016. 'Natural glamour' was the dish of the day and he served it up in both the concept of being effortlessly pulled together but also the literal injection of natural fabrics, earthy colours, loose-fit silhouettes and mussed up hair fastened with amber hair sticks. Kendall made a rare runway appearance... This being only her second walk of NYFW. The girl who stormed a thousand runways is now making some choice decisions and strutting on a more exclusive level. She looked sporty and fresh faced in a black racer front top, pleated skirt and low slung belt. Special mention must also go to 40 year old supermodel Frankie Rayder who looked as smokin' hot as always.

Our favourite look was an ochre suede wrap skirt and an oversized shirt... It felt like just the mix of textural and sensuous with smart. The office outfit of dreams, we say.

Blouson sleeves will still be a thing next summer... they're all over the streets of NYFW and Michael's wispy chiffon dresses and silk blouses do the volume thing with ease.

Summer knitwear is a NYFW hot ticket at the moment and the Kors cardigans and strap-wrapped tanks were particularly covetable.

The MK squad was strong... We had heard rumours of a potential Blake Lively appearance which didn't come to fruition but we didn't need her anyway, just look at the FROW on this: Poppy Delevingne, Naomi Watts, Olivia Wilde, Lily Aldridge and Harley Viera Newton were sitting pretty.
