There are two principal reasons we can’t get enough of blog Thank Fifi. One - that founder Wendy Gilmour lives in Glasgow and manages to style the most colourful, unusual and exotic things to make it look like she’s dressed for Monte Carlo. And two - that most of her pics have her pet dog, Mr K, who looks like he’s a friendly loveable wolf, just chilling next to her.

Seriously though, back to the clothes. There’s an easy breezy vibe going on with Wendy, and we wanted to find out how she does it. ‘A friend of mine once described my style as “daytime to playtime” and I reckon that's pretty spot on,’ she laughs. ‘There's a lots of denim and I am a stripe addict, but almost always there are heels and a clutch so that my look works for any day or any time.’
We asked Wendy to break down her eclectic style for us, so we can have a go at emulating her look. Afraid we can’t help you on finding a wolf, though.
Jeans And Birks
'I can’t live without denim. I have a pair of 7 For All Mankind ripped up jeans and I live in them - with Birksenstocks in summer, and heels for work - they are the easy go-to piece in my wardrobe.'
Keep Your Jewellery Subtle
‘I really love delicate jewellery, and my all time favourite accessory is a gorgeous charm a friend brought me back from Thailand.’

‘Chloe and Delpozo were amazing this season for layering and silhouettes,’ says Wendy. ‘And Zimmermann is always perfect for holiday inspiration.’
Make Proper Space For Your Clothes
‘I love that I basically have a whole room dedicated to my closet... but I'm not a huge fan of the fact that one of my clothing rails snapped last week under the weight of my winter coats so they're currently heaped up on the floor...’
Find A Best Mate With Great Taste In Shoes
I probably get most of my inspiration from other bloggers but I have a stylist friend, Kelly who has the most incredible shoe collection, not to mention her wonderful ability to mix super high end with H&M - she always looks beautiful.
Use Pinterest To The Max
'I save great looks on Pinterest and have a look through now and again for some fresh ideas of how to mix pieces but usually I just start with one piece, whether heels or a knit and work from there.'
If You Can, Get A Stylish Pooch
'I don’t feel dressed unless I have Mr K, my furry sidekick! He's definitely not a fashion accessory but he features on my blog all the time so when it comes to fashion week and I have to pose for a photo without him I really never know what to do with my empty hand!'
