Charlize Theron and Naomi Campbell are set to be upstaged by R'n'B royalty at this year’s swanky Life Ball event.

Yes, Mary J Blige has just been revealed as the headline act at the glamorous ball, which takes place in Vienna on 16th May. And she's in good company considering music queens Katy Perry and Leona Lewis have performed at the annual event in recent years.

For 2015's shindig, the superstar singer will share the spotlight with Jean Paul Gaultier, whose creations are to be modelled in an exclusive fashion show. It's the French designer's first appearance at Life Ball in twenty years so it's little wonder he's enlisted his favourite models to celebrate the occasion, including La Campbell herself.

Life Ball’s A-list audience, including Bill Clinton and Elton John, will watch the glittering ceremony to raise funds to fight HIV and AIDS. What's not to love?

“I'm thrilled to be in Vienna for the Life Ball, which does such an incredible job of raising money for the fight against aids,” said Blige. “I'm also delighted to perform on behalf of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, which has been a leader in the international AIDS response for 30 years.”

Coming barely a fortnight after the Met Gala in New York, this charitable extravaganza is certain to be just as chic. Ticket lost in the post? Fear not! Grazia Daily will be reporting live from Vienna so you won't miss a morsel.
