Some of us falsely assume Marks & Spencer is nothing but great food and cardigans that your mum loves. Be prepared to totally change your perspective with the crazy good #LimitedLondon range fresh out of Shoreditch, East London.
The collection is packed with digital floral prints, frayed denim and embellished dressses – not a cardigan in sight. Plus, for extra brownie points, it’s also totally eco-friendly and gentle on the environment.

Here’s our guide on why a visit to the new #LimitedLondon collection might just be the best thing you do this summer.
The Unique Prints
If you haven’t been a big M&S shopper up until now, get it on your high street shopping list – the #LimitedLondon prints are totally unique and like nothing else we’ve seen elsewhere.
**The Easily Layered Looks **
British summertime can be a particularly hard time to dress. Leaving the house in an outfit that’s suitable for glorious sunshine, overcast skies and heavy rain is a pretty big ask. Handy then, that this range boasts easy-to-layer pieces, like these awesome dungarees, £49.50.
The Festival-Ready Denim
The frayed denim styles are perfect for festivals, but more importantly, the M&S quality means you can worry less about wrecking them, and focus more on jumping around in a muddy fields. We love the fray patched girlfriend jean, £39.50.
The Inspiration
The M&S studio is located on Fashion Street in Shoreditch, a creative hub for innovative design. The team used Shoreditch as a creative backdrop and inspiration to their designs, and focused on wearable street style. So not the sort of thing you’d see your mum wearing, then.
Embellished Pinafore Shift Dress £31.60, No Peep™ Floral Boxy Blouse£29.50, Cropped Vest Top£9.50
The Eco-Factor
Every garment in the 15-piece collection was manufactured in eco-factories approved by M&S’s ‘Plan A’, which seeks to reduce waste and promote responsible sourcing. They also all contain recycled material, and if that wasn’t quite enough (almost there), M&S is busy trying to become the most sustainable major retailer in the world. Exhausting! So, it’s pretty much safe to say that your purchase can be a guilt-free one.
The Price
If all of that sustainability chat still didn’t make you feel enough like a guilt-free goddess, check out the prices. They range from a mere £10 for jersey tops to £69 for that gorgey sleeveless jacket.
The ‘Wear Anywhere’ Dresses
The versatile dresses can be worn in the office, dressed down with low-top trainers for the day time, and dressed up with heels for a night out. Our favourite is the embellished pinafore dress, £39.50, made from 100% recycled polyester.
The Loud Accessories
Nothing works better to liven up a simple jeans and tee look than a vibrant accessory, and we’re obsessed with this cartoon eye clutch, £29.50.
Cropped Vest Top £9.50
