We know her as a housewife - not the real kind but the desperate kind. That's right. The 'Type A' Bree Van De Kamp, aka actor Marcia Cross, has just made her modelling debut at 61. Heading up the spring/summer 2023 campaign for luxury e-tailer Farfetch, Marcia is following in the footsteps of Kim Cattrall, who was shot this time last year wearing a fabulous gold trench coat and walking a Dalmatian.

Farfetch has obviously got a thing for pop culture icons. As well as Kim Cattrall, Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester has also appeared as part of its campaigns, completing a triptych that will make any fan-girl's heart beat faster.

'[She’s] admired by both fans who watched Desperate Housewives when it first came out and those who are (re)discovering Desperate Housewives and Melrose Place via TikTok,' say Farfetch’s creative director, Yannis Henrion. 'We wanted to give Marcia the opportunity to show what her own style looks like since she is just as iconic and fierce in real life as in her best on-screen roles.'

But even everyone’s favourite desperate housewife occasionally retires the twin-set for something a bit more, well, shocking. Styled in a leopard Dolce & Gabbana coat, a red-hot suede Ferragamo dress and this year’s new It-bag, the Prada Moon, the get-ups (which you can shop now on Farfetch) are fiercely Van De Kamp. Just a tad less twee. Swoon.
