With a new Star Wars film on the way, to say we're excited about the franchise is an understatement. And happily for us, Berlin designer Malaika Raiss has created a Star Wars jewellery collection – 20 pieces made up of the best-known (and loved) characters and spaceships from the series.
A stalwart fan of the Force herself, Raiss has released visuals for two designs early – a glorious gold Darth Vader pendant and a pair of dazzling gold Imperial Shuttle post earrings (although R2-D2 and C-3PO charms are also expected to feature).

With a license from Disney's Lucasfilm Ltd, which allows her to market the line officially as Star Wars-associated, her new range will include a number of fine jewellery pieces too, made from 18CT gold, rose gold and even diamonds.
To coincide with the release of *Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens *in the autumn, the collection is set to launch on the MALAIKARAISS website in November. And rumour has it, the price tags are fairly reasonable – between €70 and €600, we hear.
Which means we'll be checking Raiss's website daily for sure, ready and waiting to click 'buy' with somewhat excitable force.
