Day three of NYFW and the shows are in full flow, and Bill Cummingham is keeping us drooling with the street style. But what we REALLY want to know is what's happening on the frow so we asked the fashion director Anna Keane from one of our favourite NY magazine's Lucky to fill us in...

**DB: Hey Anne, first up can you describe NY style? **

AK: New York is an incredible place for fashion. It's a place where nothing is too dressed up or too dressed down. You could walk into a restaurant in an elaborately fancy outfit or in sneakers and feel right at home in both. It is amazing that way!

**DB: What are you seeing people wearing on streets of NY this show season? **

AK: Honestly, tons of sneakers. But crazy ones and with the most unexpected things, like fur. Or a lace dress.

**DB: Do you have a show uniform? **

AK: My daily uniform is a combination of black, white and navy and I pretty much stick to that formula during fashion week. It makes getting dressed easy. Also, a good coat is always in the mix.

DB: So what's your favorite thing about NYFW?

AK: Its the start of fashion month, and seeing what everyone is wearing is so much fun.

**DB: Can you describe shopping in NY? **

The thrill of the hunt is never disappointing in this city. You may find that the buy of Alexander Wang at Barneys is completely different from the their store downtown. It keeps it exciting.

DB: Ok, so what's the best hidden shopping spot in NY?

DB: There is a store on Great Jones St. called DEAR: Rivington. They have vintage and a line that they produce that is very sweet and special. It's super cool and a mix of refashioned vintage with newer pieces. Also there are incredible handmade ceramics downstairs.

**DB: Amazing. So what's t****he last thing you bought? **

A white Proenza Schouler jacket.

DB: Who is you shopping partner?

I always go by myself! I know what I like and I am fast.
