The Resort shows – which occur in-between the spring/summer and autumn/winter seasons – have become known for their far-flung locations and impressive sets, with designers all decamping to various cities around the world in order to show off the new collections. For Louis Vuitton's latest Resort offering, this city was New York, where designer Nicolas Ghesquière chose the TWA Flight Center as his show's location.
Designed in 1962, the old airport terminal is in the process of being transformed into a brand new hotel. It has been used in films such as Catch Me If You Can and Ocean's 8, and Ghesquière used it as his starting point for the latest LV collection.
Alicia Vikander, Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Williams, Emma Stone, Lea Seydoux and Cat Blanchett
A mix of pinstripe tailoring, sharp 80s'-inspired silhouettes and innovative accessories (one was a bag with an in-built TV screen, which the brand says is intended to "blur the lines between your smartphone and your sac") made for a truly great collection, watched from the front row by the likes of Emma Stone, Julianne Moore, Alicia Vikander, Cate Blanchett, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas.
Also in attendance was mega blogger Camille Charriere, who shared her LV diary with Grazia. From her choice of outfit to the after party, experience a day in the life of a Insta cool girl by checking out her photo diary below...
