Louis Vuitton Controls The Weather By Hiring A Shaman For Catwalk Shows

Louis Vuitton Cruise Show

More often than not, the weather wreaks havoc with the best-laid plans, so you can’t blame Louis Vuitton for wanting to try and appease the weather gods by hiring a shaman to prevent it raining during outdoor catwalk shows.

The luxury French fashion house reportedly has a Brazilian shaman on its books to help magic the rain away during al fresco events, including the recent shows in Rio de Janeiro and Kyoto. Indeed, he was present in the small French town of Saint-Paul de Vence for the brand’s cruise show last week, managing to keep the threatening-looking rainclouds at bay until after the show finished.

It’s probably a smart move considering the epic downpour that Dior suffered at its cruise show, which reportedly led Paris Jackson to leave and forced the FROW to evacuate to the second row. Indeed, this headline was one of the reasons that the shaman recently found himself back on Louis Vuitton’s payroll, after reportedly being let go due to being so expensive (he only flies first class, natch).

Now, can we have his number for all al fresco cinema tickets, weddings and rooftop drinks we have booked in this summer?
